For overnight guests a full cooked Scottish breakfast is offered, as well as continental breakfast options.
All tastes are catered for including vegetarian and special dietary requirements. Notice of any special dietary needs in advance would be helpful, so we can offer you the best eating experience.
Our local butchers supply the finest, leanest and tastiest cuts of Scotch beef and lamb. Fresh fish and game are also sourced locally where possible. Our other menu ingredients, including fine cheeses, come from local suppliers.
The Thistle Bistro is open nightly from May to October, and can be booked for larger dinner parties or Christmas dinners outwith these months. During the winter months, the same great food is available in the lounge bar.
Enjoy eating in the relaxed surroundings of the bistro. Our varied and inexpensive dinner menu is always tempting, and each meal is individually cooked to order. Please reserve a table to avoid disappointment.
A selection of teas and freshly ground coffees are available in the lounge all day.
Bar snacks and meals are served in the lounge bar at lunchtime and in the evening. Food from our children’s menu is served between 12.00 noon – 2.30pm, and 6.00pm – 7.15pm. Highchair is available.
Relax in the lounge bar with a pre-dinner aperitif or after dinner liqueur. Mingle with other guests and chat about your day, or plan for tomorrow.
The Nip Inn public bar is ‘The Pub’ in Lairg. Here we have a large screen TV showing Sky & BT Sports, and a good selection of fine alcoholic beverages, including many Scottish single malts and gins. Mix with the locals and make some new friends, or renew old aquaintances.
